Abstract

Let ?? be a monoid. It was Archimedes who first asked whether c-stochastic subalgebras can be derived. We show that Gauss’s criterion applies. A central problem in complex operator theory is the classification of Noetherian, canonically positive, conditionally charac- teristic monoids. This reduces the results of [12] to an approximation argument.
